KLAS Solutions was founded by Phil Cole, who spent 30 years working deeply inside the healthcare and dental industry before building the company. With a background in education (a bachelor’s degree from Martin Luther College) and years of hands-on experience advising hundreds of dental practices from solo offices to large multi-location groups, Phil recognized a consistent gap: practice owners had clinical excellence but lacked the business infrastructure to match it.
Phil was a Top Producer Club member for more than six years, working with dentists through some of the most consequential moments of their professional lives: buying their first practice, navigating a difficult transition, building a team, and planning an exit. He saw firsthand that the difference between a thriving practice and a struggling one was rarely clinical skill. It was the business systems, the team culture, and the leadership behind the chair.
That insight became KLAS Solutions. And as the needs of the healthcare market grew, so did our scope, expanding from dental to medical practices, urgent care, primary care, specialty groups, and multi-location healthcare organizations across the country.
